My latest review is on a documentary I recently saw on Netflix. The title is “Zeitgeist: the movie” The movie was mind opening and awakening since it talked about a lot of things I did not ever thought about. The documentary goes through controversial topics with religion, the financial market, and the  terrible accident of September 11 when a plane crashed into the world trade center.
The documentary goes into detail first about religion and how religion is related to stories from Egypt time and the horoscope. Then the documentary goes on about the world trade center being a planned attack by America itself and how the evidence and statements did not add up to what the officials were saying. Lastly the movie talks about the financial market and how stocks, federal reserve banks are corrupted and in a way ruling any country under its system.
Overall the documentary wants the viewer to understand and realize that sometimes we might be getting fed information on purpose to think a certain way and believe certain things that the government wants us to believe.
Watching this documentary was very informative and was able to keep my attention focused and interested in what the speaker was going to talk about next. I definitely recommend watching this for people who enjoy theories on what was going on around the world. Two thumbs for me since this was the first documentary that was intriguing for me to see.

This is probably one of my favorite movies as a child and to see a prequel was amazing. The movie is called “Oz” starring James Franco. I was able to enjoy this movie in 3D and it was very delightful. The movie is based on how Oz the great wizard came to be in the classic movie “the Wizard of Oz.” The movie starts off in black and white and introduces the characters and the environment smoothly and with excitement. Oz ( James Franco ) later gets sucked into a hurricane and somehow ends up in a place called Oz with nice bright colors and very different from how Earth is. Oz then meets a witch and is told he must defeat the wicked witch to save Oz. With his magic spells, he’s able to conjure up tricks and giggles in order to do what must be done. I don’t want to ruin how the movie ends but it was very satisfying except the ending did seem a bit rushed with trying to tie up all the loose ends quickly. The support cast was very good. The monkey who is Oz’s sidekick was very cute and helpful throughout the movie to keep Oz seem magical. Overall the movie was worth watching even if it was over two hours. I recommend this to people who like to escape from reality and enjoy a simple movie of one of the classics of our time. Two thumbs up for this great movie.

Dexter

To me Dexter was very interesting show and i really enjoyed watching it even thought its little bit brutal. show the dexter is literally about the dexter, he's a blood strain pattern analysis at Miami department but from his traumatic past, which was watching his mother murdered in front of him made him a psychopath. his step father who were former detective knew about dexter's situation and he told dexter that there are many criminals who deserves to be punished but get away so if dexter can't control his urge to kill human, might as well use it for something better. he taught dexter how to acts like a normal person, how to cover tracks and leave no evidence. now dexter is a serial killer for serial killers or other serious criminals who got away. every season has its own antagonist and they are some how related to dexter. dexter is now has 7 seasons and i still enjoy watching even though its little bit brutal for me sometimes.

Tonight im going to talk about American Crime Drama television series. "Lie to Me", this is my one of favorite crime television series, it started 2009-2010 3 seasons now. The series follows Dr.Cal Lightman and his colleagues at The Lightman Group. They solve crimes through reading face expression and body language. Dr. Lightman is expert who studies facial expression and voluntary body language to discover why person lying and also why they are lying through his experties. Lightman and his colleagues assist government agencies to expose true behind the lies. Dr.Lightman(Tim Roth) is a human lie-detector who is able to detect any lie from people's body language. This ability come in hand when catching criminals but it also gives him with the misfortune of always knowing when someone is not honest with him. There's many interesting characters, like Dr. Gillian Foster( KelliWilliams), her husband cheating on her, fact everyone of her colleagues include Dr Lightman are aware of, except herself.
I've never seen anything like this crime drama series. I don't know if  it is the science behind the lies or just the idea of it, but i've simply fallen in love with it.

My latest movie I would like to review is a Korean film titled “Now and forever.” The movie was directed by Seong Jung Kim. The main plot of the movie is how the main male character “Min su” is a playboy and doesn’t believe there’s true love in the world.  One day he meets “Hye won”, a patient at the hospital and from there the movie gets interesting.
The story itself was very predictable but interesting since it made the viewer think “ I know this will happen but how?” often throughout the movie. The main characters were easy to get attached to and so when it is told that they both will die, it was heart breaking.
The sadness of the movie was well mixed with comedy to keep the viewers entertained, especially from the supporting roles which were the friends of Min Su and Hye won. There are many movies like this but for some reason it is always a movie that people don’t mind watching. It’s almost a Romeo and Juliet style of a movie.
Overall, the music, sound, and environment went well with the movie since it wasn’t out of this world and easy to relate and grasp. I really did enjoy the movie from beginning to end and recommend it to anyone wanting to remind themselves of how important life is and how short it can be. Two thumbs up for this great movie.

I have recently decided to watch a comedy movie and saw an oldie called “Beverly Hills Cop” made in 1984 by Martin Brest. The movie is about a tough-talking cop named Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) who heads to the Beverly Hills to investigate about his friend’s murder.

The thing that I enjoyed about the movie is the main character Axel. The composure and dialogue in the movie is pretty fun to watch and see how everything plays out. Eddie Muphy is a street-wise rebel of a cop who always gets into trouble from his boss because he doesn’t go fully by the book.

Eddie Murphy’s friend visits him and later gets murdered. This is where the plot thickens because Axel must find out who killed his friend. He later on finds out it is a drug king through clever detective work which was entertaining because he acted well in each scene.

The supporting cast was fun for the movie since they played cops who go straight by the book while Axel did not and that caused a lot of conflicts and fun for the movie.

Overall the movie progressed quickly but not too fast where the audience couldn’t catch up. It’s definitely a good movie to watch because the storyline is simple yet fun. I would give this movie two thumbs up again !!
